Raw honeycomb truly is the beekeeper's best-kept secret; it doesn't get more natural or raw than this! Each piece of honeycomb is cut from a full-frame pulled directly from the beehive. The honeycomb is filled with raw Florida wildflower honey collected from the flowering flora surrounding the hive. The taste and color of wildflower honey are dependent on the nectar sources the bees collect from to make it, and they can vary throughout the year as the available blooms change.
To eat raw honeycomb, it's best to pair it with foods that will help with the waxy consistency. We recommend pairing the honeycomb with cheese, bread, crackers, or fruit. It makes an excellent addition to a cheeseboard and is both a conversation piece and delectable hors d'oeuvre.

Bee Fact: The wax glands that honeybees use to make beeswax are located on the underside of their body. The bee has four pairs of wax secreting glands that fully develop at around 10-12 days of age.
