Honey Taffy Recipe

When I was a kid, my aunt would make these honey-taffy treats that I would horde.  It was unreal. I was like golem from Lord of the Rings.  I would not-so-stealthily steal as many as I could get my hands on.  You'll feel the same way when you try them, trust me.  I just hope that you can show more self-restraint that a seven-year-old-me.  I've made these with all sorts of honey varietals.  From Tupelo Honey, Orange Blossom Honey, Raspberry, or just local wildflower honey, these honey-taffy treats are the bomb. Oh, Honey! Honey Muffins!

When I made these honey muffins for the first time, I felt like I was transported in time to my grandmother's kitchen on a Saturday morning.  Muffins that remind you of mornings waking up to the sweet smell of some breakfast treat--they are the perfect way to start your morning.  The raw honey gives the muffins a little hint of sweetness.  You can use and raw honey you prefer, whether its a local honey or varietal honey, these muffins are a wonderful treat.  I've used the Tupelo honey and the Orange Blossom honey to make them, and both were eaten with rave reviews! Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 large...

We used honey from our regional wildflower honey series, which is a great option if you want to include local honey.  We've partnered with beekeepers up and down the East coast so we have honey local to you whether you're in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, or New England region. This is another from the ever-talented Minimalist Baker, so be sure to check out their...

Minimalist Baker Honey Mama's Recipe

We made this recipe from the Minimalist Baker, and we fell in love.  It is absolutely divine and so easy that we felt compelled to share! On a recent visit from Oregon, my soon-to-be sister-in-law brought us some Honey Mama's Honey-Cocoa Bars, and I was hooked.  I had to re-create them.  I scoured the internet, and this was the best Honey Mama's I've found, period.  It only has five ingredients, so quality is key here. The almond butter and honey really make a difference here. We used almond butter from our friends over at Big Spoon Roasters and our very own Tupelo honey to really set things off. This recipe only has 5 ingredients and takes under 20 minutes to make!...
